Rubotics Terms of Service

(Last updated: July 2026)

Business Structure & Transparency

Rubotics is operated by a single entity:

  • Trueben (Netherlands) – operator of this website, developer and intellectual-property owner of the Rubotics algorithmic-trading software tools, contracting and billing entity for all purchases and subscriptions, and provider of educational materials, consulting, and training related to algorithmic trading.
The Netherlands (registered with KvK under number 98842137, BTW NL005357418B71)

For all consumer transactions through this website, the contracting party is Trueben.

Nothing in this structure changes the User's consumer rights.

Article 1 – Definitions

  • Provider: Trueben.
  • Account: User profile secured by login credentials.
  • User: An individual consumer who uses the Platform/Software.
  • Platform/Software: Algorithmic-trading utilities and tools developed by Trueben, provided under a non-exclusive licence and designed to run on third-party platforms such as MetaTrader 5 or TradingView.
  • Subscription: The recurring agreement granting the User access to the Platform/Software.

Article 2 – General

  1. By using the Platform/Software, the User agrees to these Terms.
  2. If the User does not agree, they may not use the Platform/Software.
  3. The Provider may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
  4. Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid ones that align as closely as possible.
  5. References to the Platform/Software also refer to the Provider's website.
  6. Software provided by Trueben does not constitute financial advice or a regulated financial service.

Article 3 – Privacy & Security

  1. Personal data is processed under GDPR.
  2. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
  3. The Provider implements reasonable security measures.
  4. The User is responsible for securing their own devices and login credentials.

Article 4 – Use of the Platform/Software

  1. Availability is offered on a best-efforts basis; no guaranteed uptime.
  2. The User is responsible for all content entered into their Account.
  3. The Provider may impose additional verification requirements.
  4. Subscription changes follow the Provider's pricing.
  5. Cancellation: Users may cancel via the dashboard; refunds are not provided unless required by law.
  6. Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least one (1) month prior to renewal.

Article 4A – Fees, Payment & VAT

  1. Prices displayed to consumers on the website are inclusive of VAT. The price you see is the total price you pay.
  2. Where a User purchases as a business and provides a valid VAT identification number, prices may be shown or invoiced exclusive of VAT, and the reverse-charge mechanism may apply for intra-EU business customers.
  3. The applicable VAT rate is determined by the User's country of residence, and the VAT amount contained in the total is itemised at checkout and on the invoice.
  4. Users must provide accurate billing information.
  5. Price changes are communicated in advance and apply to the next subscription term.

Article 4B – Digital Content & Withdrawal Rights (EU Compliance)

  1. The Platform/Software constitutes digital content and is delivered electronically.
  2. EU/EEA consumers ordinarily have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts.
  3. Because the Platform/Software is made available immediately after purchase, the User must explicitly:

    • request immediate access to the digital content, and
    • acknowledge that doing so waives their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law.
  4. Access will only begin after the User ticks an unchecked checkbox confirming both statements.
  5. If the User does not provide this consent, the Provider may delay activation until the withdrawal period expires or refuse to conclude the contract.
  6. Goodwill refunds: Although legal withdrawal rights do not apply once access is granted, the Provider may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds in exceptional circumstances such as accidental duplicate purchases. This goodwill measure creates no contractual entitlement to refunds.

Article 5 – User Obligations

Users must:

  1. Not scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the Platform/Software.
  2. Not use the Platform/Software unlawfully.
  3. Not share accounts or redistribute content without permission.
  4. Not harm or attempt to harm the Provider's systems or interests.

The User is responsible for activities under their Account unless they prove absence of negligence.

Article 6 – Single-User Licence & Prohibited Sharing

  1. Each Subscription is personal and non-transferable.
  2. Unauthorized sharing may result in immediate termination and additional charges.
  3. The Provider reserves all legal remedies.

Article 7 – Platform Availability

Best-efforts availability; no guarantee of uninterrupted service.

Article 8 – No Financial Advice

  1. The Platform/Software interfaces with third-party trading platforms but requires full User control and configuration.
  2. Neither the Provider nor related entities offer:

    • financial advice,
    • portfolio management,
    • brokerage, or
    • trade execution services.
  3. Content is educational only.
  4. The User assumes all trading risk.
  5. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Article 9 – Liability

  1. The User indemnifies the Provider for damages resulting from misuse.
  2. The Provider is not liable for:

    • inaccurate information;
    • downtime or errors;
    • financial or trading losses.
  3. Liability is limited to the fees paid in the three (3) months prior to the event.
  4. Mandatory legal liabilities are not excluded.

Article 10 – Intellectual Property Rights

  1. All IP rights belong to Trueben.
  2. Users receive a personal, non-transferable licence during the subscription period.
  3. User content may be used for service improvement and anonymized marketing materials.
  4. Users warrant that their content does not infringe third-party rights.

Article 11 – Force Majeure

The Provider is not liable for failures caused by events beyond its control.

Article 12 – Mediation & Dispute Resolution

Parties will attempt mediation in the Netherlands. Unresolved disputes follow Article 13.

Article 12A – Single Entity & Transparency

  2. The software is developed and owned by Trueben.
  3. Education and consultancy are provided by Trueben.
  4. Subscriptions are sold exclusively by Trueben, which is the merchant of record.
  5. These arrangements do not affect the User's statutory rights.
